Who's this??

I'm Lisa (she/her), a Software Engineer at Stripe and a 2022 engineering graduate from the University of Toronto. I'm interested in fields that combine software and design, including Frontend Engineering, UX Engineering, Design Technologist, and Product Design.

What I Design For

My goal is to design user interfaces that anyone can use without much effort. This does not mean restricting myself to incredibly simplistic designs; as Steve Krug, a usability expert, puts it: using new conventions is acceptable if it "adds so much value that it's worth a small learning curve".

My Engineering Design Philosophy

The following flow chart showcases my personal design process. Rather than making a detailed, step-by-step protocol, I start with a basic outline that I can then build on. This makes it easy to adapt the design to new requirements.
